The Maclean Twilight Rodeo is an annual rodeo that is a great family event with lots of side attractions for the kids.
Highlights of the Rodeo include Bull Riding and Saddle Bronc Riding.

Bull Riding, which is fast, furious and dangerous, is not for the faint hearted. In this event, the rider must hold on with one hand and stay on the bucking bull for eight seconds. Both animal and rider are judged, the rider on his style and the angry bull’s ability to buck the rider before the buzzer. A rider is disqualified if he touches the bull or equipment with his free hand.

Saddle Bronc Riding, is a classic rodeo event. Saddle Bronc Riding stems back to the taming and training of wild horses for farm transport and hunting. Some horses would not submit easily and so the contest began. Today, the event is a stylised and highly skilled event on the rodeo circuit.
